1.2.20 Men and Women Win against Shrewsbury making it 4 in a row for men and women!

Did we just win another one? Wow! 4-0 for both teams! it came the hard way. Girls won by 6 points. Earning big scores in the 100 back and breast at the end really did the trick.
Boys didn't do too shabby either winning 7 of the 11 events competed in that evening. Let's get to swimmers of the meet shall we?
Ashleigh Siciliano has always been the ultimate teammate and competitor. Against Shrewsbury she proved it in spades. She had her hand in 13 of the teams 96 points. A versatile swimmer, Ashleigh swam 200 IM, 500 Free and raced the butterfly and sprint freestyle in the medley and 200 free relay respectively. What can't she do? Well, smile about it apparently (photo spartan). Well done Ashleigh!
Amelia Koval is a transplant from the Leominster team but we have treated like our own. Always supportive and focused, Amelia raced an impressive 50 Free good for 2nd, lead off backstroke in the winning 200 Medley relay, Anchored the top TGD 200 Free relay and scored mungo points in the 100 backstroke event. Glad to have you on our team Amelia!
Kirsten Sjoberg is yet another versatile swimmer. Happy to race the 200 Free and 100 Fly yet swims breast for the medley relay and Leads off our top 400 Free relay. All around, a great performance for Kirsten S. this meet. Adding to a total 4 events qualified for Mid-Wach and a part of several Sectional cut time for the relay, Kirsten can expect to be very busy well into February. Nice job!
Lucas Ferreira: What a meet! Swam the 200 Free for the first time and didn't sink! Also scored for us in the 100 Breast. It wasn't long ago that Lucas was only swimming 50's. Way to step up in so many ways! Lucas also raced the third leg of our top 400 free relay against Shrewsbury. Awesome Job Lucas! So happy Lucas is just stepping up in every way.
Up next is Nashoba who beat both the girls and boys last year. Time for some redemption I think! Go TGD!!
