Nashoba Meet: an absolute Cannonball of fun and fast times.

Who doesn't love a cannonball during the dive events?! So girls took the win and showed some dominance in doing so. The boys lost but pushed a very very very strong team to do some uncharacteristic things to pull off a win. All around, a very competitive meet and one that garnered several season bests. On the girls side, 2 state cuts were made, 4 sectional cuts were made or lowered, and 4 league cuts were made or lowered.
On the boys side, 2 Relays made states, 2 sectional cuts were made or lowered and 2 League cuts were made or lowered.
SOTM

Alice Loucraft: The NM swimmers are no joke. They have made the SOTM 3 weeks in a row! Alice busted through a best time in the 500 to get that much closer to a State cut. She also can dangerously close to the state breaststroke cut as well. And it is no surprise that she helped our relay team get their first state cut. Did I mention she is pretty good? Did I have to? Great job Alice!
Megan Barulli: I have known Megan all four years at Tyngsborough. 3 as a swimmer and 1 as her teacher. She is always committed to the task at hand. For this meet, we needed her swim the 500. Not her favorite, but she did a great job. AND that was right before she swam a best time in the 100 free. Megan doesn't just show up . She comes to race! Excellent Job Megan!
Courtney Hannes makes diving look easy. This week was twist week and she killed it. Doing degree of difficulties higher than most, Courtney is unfazed and simply launches off the board with the greatest of ease. She won her event in case you were wondering and now, only needs 1 more strong showing to make it to Sectionals. Grreat Job Courtney!
Oliver Erz: is a freshman on the team that loves to swim breaststroke. He dropped himself some time in the 100 breast getting closer to that league cut and did the same in the 200 IM. He is learning to be versatile and taking it seriously as we head into some big meets. Oliver also busted out some great times in the Medley and 400 free relay. Nice Job Oliver.

Onto Westford! (Ladies)
